Grace V. Fell

Grace V. Fell, 97, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 in Westminster Village. She was born on January 14, 1921 to Frank and Grace (Sidenstick) Cassle. Grace graduated from Garfield High School and worked at Quaker Maid where she met her husband, Richard. They were married on April 4, 1942 and enjoyed 71 years together.

Grace is survived by three daughters, Janice Schoffstall, Linda Horn (Wayne) and Shirley Ellis (Charles). Grandchildren Lori Effner (Chris), Larry Schoffstall Jr. (Amy), Jason Schoffstall (Shelley), Richard Horn (Michelle), Kevin Horn (Jillaine), Nathan Ellis (Jennifer) and Emily English (Adam). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband on 8/27/2013, three brothers, Wayne, Chester and Donald and son-in-law, Larry Schoffstall, Sr.

Grace spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother. She was a wonderful cook and her family loved her black raspberry jelly. In later years, she worked at Rose-Hulman in the food service department and also volunteered at Regional Hospital for several years. She and Richard also owned and operated the Garden Patch Coffee Shop and Deli. Grace was a member of Union Christian Church.

The family would like to thank the employees of Westminster Village for the care they gave Grace during her years there.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery with Minister Mark Miller officiating. Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, assisted with arrangements.
