Grace E. Conaway, 96, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 in Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus. She was born January 2, 1921 in Terre Haute to Frank Clarence Conaway and Oressa Ethel Winters Conaway. Grace was a clerk at Wabash Fibre Box Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mable Conaway, Lucille Conaway, and Francis Conaway Evans. She is survived by nephews, Jeffrey Evans and David Evans; and a niece, Janet Evans.

Grace was fun-loving and outgoing, enjoyed her family and friends, and could outwalk people half her age.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 1, 2017 in Roselawn Memorial Park with Brother Mark Grayless officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. There will be no visitation.
