Gilbert Louis Barbee

Gilbert Louis Barbee, 86, of Terre Haute passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 in Signature Healthcare. He was born June 22, 1928 in Clinton, IN to Bob Olen Barbee and Margaret Blair Barbee. Gilbert was a printer of the Tribune-Star. Survivors include his son, Michael Barbee of Beijing, China; former daughter-in-law, Lynn Barbee of Merrilville, IN; and grandchildren, Laura Michelle Hittle, Rachel Tasso, Timothy Caleb Barbee, and Charissa Barbee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Little Barbee and his parents. Gilbert was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He also was involved in drawing and designing floats for parades. There are no services or visitation. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
