Gerri Buckner Burskey, 56, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was born March 6, 1962 to Merrial Wayne Buckner and Catherine Billie Vallely Buckner.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Burskey; daughters, Jennifer Frakes and Stephanie Harper; brother, Bill Buckner; sister, Patty Buckner Micheli; brothers-in-law, Bob Burskey (Rona), Dennis Burskey, and Scott Burskey; sisters-in-law, Collett Stroud and Mary Mattox; grandchildren, Madison Cooper, Cadence Brickey, Mackenzie Shields, and Jaedyn Burgess; father-in-law, Robert Burskey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, ,and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Buckner and David Buckner; sisters, Katherine Burgess and Jane Ann Buckner; and grandchild, Eeliah Harper Pridemore.

Gerri was a homemaker and caregiver. She was raised by Helen and Jim VallelyShe has cared for Goldie Adams, Virginia Burskey, and Robert Burskey. Gerri attended Oak Hill Community Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 8, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Tim Fagg officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak Hill Community Church.
