Gerald (Jerry) Lee Mikalowsky, 64, of Terre Haute died Monday, May 19, 2014 in his residence. He was born September 29, 1949 in Gary, IN to Joseph Mikalowsky and Elizabeth Leight Mikalowsky. Gerald was retired from insurance sales. Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Matusik Mikalowsky whom he married on June 23, 1973; two sons, Aaron Mikalowsky and his wife Kim of Noblesville, IN and Steven Mikalowsky and his wife Christy of Indianapolis; and a grandson, Cameron Mikalowsky. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Gerald was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Friday, May 23, 2014 in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Father Ed Goldbach, OFM Conv. officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Benedict Soup Kitchen or the charity of your choice.
