Gerald Michael Miller, 68, of Riverside, CA and formerly of Terre Haute, IN passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He retired as Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities for the University of California, Riverside. Prior to that, "Mike" served as Vice-President of Miller Engineering for 15 years in Terre Haute. Mike was born May 17, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Gerald C. and Dorothy Jane Haley Miller.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years Susan Leach Miller; two sisters, Rosemary Rothkopf of Indianapolis and Annette Dever and her husband, Steve, of Rocky River, OH; a brother-in-law, David Leach and his wife, Bernadette, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; a sister-in-law, Anne Yettman of Atlantic Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews; Amanda Rothkopf Henderson, Stephen Rothkopf, Jack Rothkopf; Victoria, Monica, Samantha and Andrew Dever; Chet, Stephanie and Timothy Miller; Michelle Yettman Duve, Jon Yettman; Joseph Leach, Mallory Leach and Megan Leach Silverman. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Timothy Miller and Stephen Miller.

Mike attended St. Margaret Mary grade school, graduated from Schulte High School and attended Indiana State University. He received his degree in Facilities Management from the University of California, Riverside.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9th Street, with Father Martin Day, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 3rd from 4:30 to 7:30 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 pm in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
