George Michael Meiners

George Michael Meiners, 52, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday evening, February 16, 2022.  He was born July 25, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH to George B. Meiners and Alfreda Bryant Meiners.

Survivors include his parents, George and Afreda Meiners of Terre Haute;  two brothers, Jeffrey Meiners (Melissa) of Vancouver, WA and Bradley Meiners (Alison) of Sherwood, OR;  three nieces, Adyson, Katelyn and Samantha Meiners;  and several aunts and uncles.

George enjoyed watching movies especially “Star Trek” and loved to travel.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9 ^th Street, Terre Haute, with Father Martin Day, OFM Conv. officiating.  Burial services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 3, 2022 in the Chapel of Mother of God in Old St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.  There is no visitation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th Street.  If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Ste. 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
