George Wayne Crock

George Wayne Crock, 80, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 in Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  He was born October 17, 1943 in Terre Haute to George Albert Crock and Mary Louise Beddow Crock.

Survivors include his daughters, Stacey Frederick (Jason) and Nikki McCarty (Michael); grandchildren, Kristina Mason, Cameran McCarty (Rebecca), and Zack McCarty (Breanne); great grandchildren, Jameson McCarty, Michael Grisham, and Amarie Grisham; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; and a special buddy named Bert.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and son, Michael Joseph Crock.

George was a 50 year member of Riley Lodge #390 F & AM and American Legion Post #328.  He loved I.U. Basketball and Miami Dolphins Football. George was an Army veteran.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
