Gary Steven Goodwin

Gary Steven Goodwin. 80, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday evening, March 26, 2023.  He was a welder for Visual Sign Company.  Gary was born July 10, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to Robert Goodwin and Mildred Gosnell Goodwin.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marolyn Huddleston Goodwin;  daughter, Paula J. Goodwin (Brian Baker) of Indianapolis;  two sons, Gardner A. Klein II of Terre Haute and Michael L. Klein (Stacey) of Avon, IN;  four grandchildren, Dakota Klein, Nathan Klein (Keirsten), Noah Klein and Maximus Klein;  and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Micah Klein.  Also surviving is his brother, Robert Goodwin, Jr. (Beverly);  two sisters, Cheryl Combs and Wanda Kelso;  two brothers-in-law, Stephen Huddleston and Ed Huddleston (Lisa);  three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Buttrey (James), Arlene Manwaring (Dale) and Genelle Thompson (John Castle);  and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was a Vietnam Veteran having served with the U.S. Marine Corps.  He enjoyed travelling with Marolyn when he was able, and playing Sudoku puzzles.  He especially loved spending time with the grandchildren.
