Floyd Allen "Moe" Carlyle

Floyd Allen “Moe” Carlyle, 67, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021.  He was born November 19, 1953 in Terre Haute, IN to Virgil and Bessie Carlyle.

Survivors include his son, Ron Eaton (Kelly) of Brownsburg, IN;  his daughter, Angie Taylor (Tom) of Terre Haute; Dan Lockard of Terre Haute, who was like a son; three grandchildren, Jaimee Eaton, Brooklynn Taylor and Macie Taylor;  one great-granddaughter, Nora;  his brother, Mike Carlyle;  and sisters, Gladys Arndt and Norma Kearnchner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Evelyn Jean Carlyle.

Moe attended Kidley Community Church and enjoyed studying scripture.  He was an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter and loved spending time with his family and pets.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 th Street, with Brother John Ellis officiating.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
