Florence (Babe) Schulte, 89, of Terre Haute went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Union Hospital. She was born August 5, 1925 in Diamond, IN to Joseph Klain and Anna Skokan Klain. Survivors include her children, Penny Jackson and her husband Daniel, Randy Schulte, and Connie Malooley all of Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Michael Schulte and his wife Rachael, Eddie Joe Malooley, and Breanna Malooley; sisters-in-law, Helen Terstegge of Terre Haute and Marguerite Klain of Brazil and Cristel Schulte of Mt. Airy, MD; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence (Larry) Schulte; an infant son, Larry Dale; a grandson, Andrew; and brothers and sisters, Mary, Joseph, Cecelia, Ann, Amelia, Agnes, Albert, Frank, Delores, and Pauline. Florence was a caring and compassionate person who cherished her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Florence was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She loved to bowl and was a member of the 600 club, but her favorite pastime was mushroom hunting. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2015. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
