Fern Elsie Reitmeyer
October 14, 1922 — February 19, 2019
Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Combs and Jennifer Reitmeyer; grandson, Craig Owens; and great grandchildren, Austin Owens and Taylor Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frederick Reitmeyer; her parents; two brothers; and a grandson, Jason Owens.
Fern was co-owner of the Conservatory of Music. She also was a Tai Chi instructor for many years. Fern loved crafting, sewing, antiquing, flowers, and traveling with her husband.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Jacob Sutton officiating. Private burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services on Sunday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
