Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Reginald Paul; their children, Sharon Tyler (née Paul), Dwayne Paul, Martin Paul and Amanda Paul; grandchildren, Derrick Cash, Brendon Cash, Alecia Cash, Amber Dankert (née Paul), Jacqueline Paul and Andrew Paul; her fourteen great grandchildren and her faithful dog, Nigel Collins.
Ireland's quilted land is a perfect metaphor for Eve's life. Her individual journey began in Dublin, Ireland born to Alecia and Edward Gill with a move later to Banbury, England where she met her husband, Reg, starting a joint journey bringing them to the States and eventually Terre Haute, Indiana. During her time, she blossomed from a curious, cheeky child to a nurturing, loving woman who was always filled with laughter and love. She is adored by all of her family and most of whom has had the privilege of sharing in her stories, quick wit and poise. She was a dynamic woman who will continue to grace us with her eternal love.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Eve on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery and services officiated by Fr. John Hollowell. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Tuesday at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, before processing to the church. In lieu of flowers, Eve's family asks that you consider a donation to Riley Children's Foundation, 30 South Meridian Street, Suite #200, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
