Emma Jean Russell, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in Clinton Gardens. She was born August 6, 1930 in Parke County to David Watson and Lela Leslie Watson. Survivors include her husband, Lindy Gene Russell; two sons, Timothy Russell and Earl Russell both of Terre Haute; a brother, Robert Watson (Ruth)of Terre Haute; a sister, Blanche Ames of Rockville; grandchildren, Jon Russell (Sarah), Megan Palm (Jeremy), Kyle Russell (Shawn), Amy Russell, Lauren Russell, and Ashley Daugherty (George); and great grandchildren, Noah, Eve, Jonas, Emma, Judah, and Jonathan. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Russell (Naomi); sisters, Leora Ward, Eleanor Nagy, and Pauline; and brothers, Bill Watson and David Watson. Emma was a member of Terre Haute First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Mark Fleschner and Reverend Timothy Russell officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Terre Haute First Church of the Nazarene.
