Ellen Rae Williams, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born November 18, 1935 in Terre Haute to Raymond Snedeker and Martha Pearson Snedeker. Survivors include two daughters, Diane Williams and Maureen Voll (Randy) both of Terre Haute; one son, Arthur Williams (Chris) of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Eric Voll (Juana), Robin Voll, Rachel Williams, and Arthur Thomas Williams; and one great grandchild, Luke Canal. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur T. Williams, Jr. in 2011 and her parents, Raymond Snedeker and Martha Carpenter. Ellen was a former U.S. Marine and a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and the ASPCA. Private Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Father Martin Day officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA. Funeral information may also be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
