Elizabeth "Betty" Tuttle Cox

Elizabeth “Betty” Tuttle Cox, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Signature Healthcare.  She was born March 21, 1932 in Clinton to James Penman, Jr. and Jean Wright Penman. Betty was the former owner of Krietenstein Glass and Paint.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Tuttle; step-son, Jeffrey Cox; step-daughter, Deborah Cox; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathon, and David Cox.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Cox who died December 5, 2002.

Betty was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church Circle One and Bible Study, Chapter K of PEO, YWCA, and the Elks Ladies 18th Hole golf league.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Laura McDonald officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to services from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 P.M.
