Elizabeth A. Meneghini, 92, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord early Tuesday morning, December 4, 2018 in Sycamore Manor. She was born September 20, 1926 in Centenary, IN to Simone Bonato and Elisabeth DalPonte Bonato. Elizabeth's beloved step-father was John Bello.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Louise Meneghini of Terre Haute; a daughter-in-law, Linda Meneghini; four grandchildren, Dr. Michael Meneghini (Sarah), Heather Campbell (Josh), Tony Terrando (Joanne) and Dr. Cindy Meneghini (Dr. Seth Rinderknecht); 10 great-grandchildren; and many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Angelo Meneghini; a son, Angelo Meneghini, Jr.; three brothers, John Bonato, Victor Bonato and Nick Bello; and three sisters; Anna Secoy, Pauline Dal Sasso and Katherine Schmeling.

Elizabeth was a 1944 graduate of Clinton High School and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where she was active with the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed volunteering as a tutor with the Vigo County School Corporation and with Torner Girls Club. Elizabeth's greatest joy was being with and entertaining family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday morning, December 8, 2018 from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in St. Margaret Mary Church, 2405 South 7th Street, with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. If friends should so desire memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2405 South 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47802; Catholic Charities of Terre Haute, 1801 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803 or to the charity of your choice.
