Elizabeth Nan Dilg, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Harrison's Crossing Health Campus. She was born February 12, 1926 in California, Missouri to Ned S. Newton and Esther Elizabeth Jenkins Newton. Her husband of 60 years, John E. Dilg, preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include a son, Peter J. Dilg of Terre Haute; two daughters, Deborah N. Pecora of Terre Haute and Gretchen V. Newburn (James) of West Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Elizabeth J. Stoneback, John D. Dilg, James J. Newburn II, Philip A. Pecora and Virginia R. Newburn; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Georgene Dilg of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Nan was also preceded in death by her brother, Ned S. Newton, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Kathryn Nan Dilg.

There are no services or visitation scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
