Eleanor Leslie, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in Springhill Village. She was born on February 6, 1931 in Sullivan County to Irvin W. Cooksey and Lydia P. McClung Cooksey. Eleanor was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald K. Leslie, who passed away in 1983. Survivors include three sons, Irvin Gaddis, Robert Dean Leslie and Ronald Brian Leslie; three daughters, Mickey Leslie, Sharla Nickell (Jim) and Melody Moody; a sister, Mary Whitlock; a daughter-in-law, Jeanna Leslie; eight grandchildren, Margie Miller, Monica Haley, Melissa Neitzel, Renee Reece, Brock Leslie, Carrie Oaks, Mary Gaddis, and Crystal Gaddis; and several great grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Richard Leslie. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. There are no services scheduled. Burial will be Monday, June 2, 2014 in Roselawn Memorial Park.
