Edith M. Albright, 88, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Westminster Healthcare Center. She was born May 30, 1926 in Terre Haute, IN to Fred Holmes and Mary Edwards Holmes. Edith was a legal secretary for IMC. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Price and her husband David of Danville, IL and Jane Wellman and her husband Jerry of Ligonier, IN; four grandchildren, Jason Blair and his wife Keri, Heather Hamilton and her husband Jonathan, Krista Horn and her husband Bill, and Aaron Wellman and his wife Shellie; eight great grandchildren, Austin Blair, Maya Hamilton, Kade Kitson, Quinn Kitson, Carter Kitson, Olivia Horn, Grant Wellman, and Grace Wellman; and a sister, Mary Kennedy of West Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Albright; her parents; brothers, Lester Simpson and Bill Simpson; and sisters, Helen Noonan, Ruth Holmes, and Annabelle Beedle. Edith was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
