Dr. Anne Warpenburg Foster

Survivors include her husband, Arriola Foster; her daughter, Lynn Clark of Springboro, OH; her son, Steven Warpenburg (Darice) of Terre Haute; two step-daughters, Carol Lynn Foster of Linton, IN and Cathy Long (Richard) of Clay City, IN; a step-son, Steven Foster (Stacia) of Arlington, WA; sister, Jan Weeks of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, seven grandchildren, Katie Brown, Kevin Clark, Kelsey Stevens, Mandi Warpenburg, Jessica Miller, Kayla Warpenburg and Sean Warpenburg; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Warpenburg; a son, Scott Warpenburg; and a sister, Marilyn McKnight.
Anne graduated from Garfield High School and Logan College of Chiropractic. She was a member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, Women's Department Club and Altrusa, where she served as president of the local chapter and governor of District Six, Altrusa International. She was a world traveler, an avid reader and bridge player, and golfed on several area leagues in her later years. Anne was deeply devoted to family and friends and always a great source of advice. She was very active and loved to participate in many of the community activities at Westminster Village.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for Anne by the family at a later date with burial at Highland Lawn cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. If friends should so desire memorial contributions may be made to Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, 1203 Maple Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47804.
