Dorothy Joan Kasameyer
December 29, 1941 — January 9, 2019
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Northrop (Larry) and Karen Angermeier; brother; Steve Miller (Cynthia); and grandchildren, Kira Northrop, Alison and Andrea Angermeier. She was preceded in death by her parents and former spouse, Bruce Kasameyer.
Joan was involved in many service organizations in the community. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 60 years as part of the Alpha Omega Chapter. Joan also participated in the Woman's Department Club for many years. She enjoyed entertaining, decorating, spending time with friends and family and doing for others.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 2620 Ohio Blvd., with Pastor Dana Newhouse officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
