Dorothy Jean Dotty (Braunschweiger) Bilyeu, 85, of Terre Haute, departed her earthly life on
April 7, 2016 from her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1930 in Wellsville, New York to Anna Foerster Braunschweiger and Martin Paul Braunschweiger.
Survivors include her dedicated husband whom she married November 25, 1953, Thomas A. Bilyeu; their four children, Bradley Bilyeu (Jeanne) of Terre Haute, Jan Swingley (David) of Bridgeton, Kris Bilyeu (Leslie) of Terre Haute and Gail Happel (David) of Diablo, CA; ten grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and their spouses who were special to her and an important part of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Carl, Otto, Norman and Frederick Braunschweiger and Alice (Braunschweiger) Herod.
Dorothy attended Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School before graduating from Wiley High School in 1947. She was a life-long member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She also was a big part of the family business, Tabco Business Forms, that she helped found and manage with Tom in 1978 and continued to be active in until 2012.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 3:00-6:00 P.M. in Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, and also on Wednesday, April 13th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 645 Poplar Street. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Reverend Jacob Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
