Donna Jean Conner Springman
April 2, 1928 — June 8, 2017
Survivors include three children, Karen Ross of Terre Haute, Kathryn Moll and her husband, David, of Brownsburg, IN and Keith Springman and his wife, Debbie, of West Terre Haute; six grandchildren, Keith Springman, Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Kylee Fervida and her husband, Kevin, James Ross and his wife, Jennifer, Anna Himes and her husband, John, Adam Moll and Allison Moll; and three great-grandsons, Parker Fervida, Paxton Fervida and Kyson Springman. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Delores Conner and Joan Sylvester both of Beech Grove, IN; nieces and nephews, Mike Conner and his wife, Re, David Conner, Jim Conner and his wife, Paula Hundley, and Steve Conner and his wife, Julie; and cousins, Beth Walton and her husband, Wendall, and Mary Braddock. In addition to her husband and parents, Donna was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Conner.
Donna grew up in Indianapolis and was educated at St. Catherine of Siena and St. Mary schools. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Chapter AW of PEO Sisterhood, Tri Kappa, Terre Haute Day Nursery Board of Directors and Country Club of Terre Haute. She was an avid bridge player and loved golfing, tennis and traveling. Donna and her husband, Don, were active in the Terre Haute community with the Wabash Valley Community Foundation and other philanthropic interests.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis (435 W. Troy Ave.) Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13th from 4:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 P.M. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, c/o Donald O. Springman Trust, 200 South 8th St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.
