Donald C. Thompson Donald C. Thompson, 68, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on July 12, 1947 to Elmer Thompson and Francis Roberts Thompson. He was a retired laborer and is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sherry Roy Thompson. Other survivors include two sons, Don Thompson and Jon Thompson and his wife Jayme all of Terre Haute; a sister, Shirley Johnson of New Mexico; grandchildren, Regina Thompson and Richard Allen; great grandchildren, Aaron Thompson and Gabriel Allen; a brother-in-law, Ben Roy and his wife Chris; a dear friend, Becky Skelton who has been with them from the beginning; Donald was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bob Thompson. The family would also like to thank friends and neighbors for all their support and prayers. Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He loved horseback riding and use to participate in riding competitions in his younger years. He also loved to cook. No services or visitation are scheduled. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street.
