On August 27, Donald Leroy Struble, formerly of Terre Haute, laid down his working tools of life. He was preceded in death by his parents, H. B. and Mary Mildred Smith Struble; and his wife Carolyn Sue Struble. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) of FL, Scott (Mandy) of GA, and Kevin (Jill) of FL; one stepson: Kevin Spence of AZ and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Don was active in many Terre Haute organizations including: Humboldt Lodge No. 42 and Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute. He served as Thrice Potent Master 1988-1989, Supreme Council Thirty-Third Degree 1991, York Rite and Zorah Temple Potentate 1987. Also, Royal Order of Jesters serving as Director in 1984, DeMolay Legion of Honor, The Royal Order of Scotland, Eastern Star No. 46 and York Rite College No. 72.
A Celebration of the lives and visitation for both Don and Carole will be conducted from 2:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Masonic Memorial Services and 33rd Degree Masonic Services will follow at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, at http://donate.lovetotherescue.org or Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N.
