Donald Glenn Jones

Don was retired from City Plumbing. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Sycamore Country Club and the William Penn Masonic Lodge in Terre Haute.
Survivors include his daughter, Kristy Sue Jones of Ralston, Nebraska; stepdaughters Sasha Meyer (Greg) of Portland, OR and Tressie Gaskins (Samantha) of Sullivan, IN; brother David Jones (Patty) of Decatur, IL; sister, Rebecca Gilman (Kenneth) of Reelsville, IN.; grandchildren Brandon, Hope and Hunter; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was preceded in death by the Love of his life, his wife Christine, his parents, his grandparents, his cousin LeRoy Hendrix and several aunts and uncles.
Don graduated from Gerstmeyer High School and was a gifted artist as well as a multi-sport athlete in his youth. He loved to dance and have fun and was always willing to help family and friends.
According to his wishes, Don will be cremated. There will be no funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 5th Street. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
A celebration of life will be held this Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at the Sycamore Country Club (200 Heritage Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47803) from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. with Military Honors.
