Dennis Lee Lambert, 82, of Bloomington, MN (formerly Edina, MN and Terre Haute, IN) passed away on September 2, 2014. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Anne Temple Lambert; and sons, Douglas (Anna Mae) of Edina, MN and Scott (Valerie) of Liberty Township, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail (Young), Gregory, Dexter and Stephanie, and four-legged Schnauzer friend, Soffi. Denny was born on February 28, 1932 to Clara and Loren Lambert in Clinton, IN. A very proud graduate of Rockville High School where he lettered in basketball, football, track and played drums in the band. His military service as a Corporal in the U.S. Army included time in Colorado Springs, CO and Ft. Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, IN. With the help of the GI Bill, Denny graduated from Indiana State University and began a wonderful 42 year career with the Bemis Company Inc. beginning in sales at the Terre Haute plant. In 1970, Denny and Anne packed up the boys and moved to Edina where he was promoted to Manager of the CelloVision plant in Minneapolis. He retired in 1997 as a Vice-President of the Polyethylene Packaging Group for Bemis. Dennis, Denny, Dad and "Pop-Pop" as he was known by many, was a kind, compassionate and humble man who loved to hear and tell a good joke as much as anyone. Those times and many others will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched over his eighty-two years. Memorials preferred to the Humane Society or the donor's choice.
