David Alan (Rolo) Rowlett, 61, lifelong resident of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born February 29, 1952 in Terre Haute to Burton Donald Rowlett and Lola Frances Morris Rowlett. He worked 15 years at Dever Distributing before working 28 years at Republic National Distributing Company as District Manager. Survivors include his wife Denise Rowlett; his mother, Lola Frances Rowlett of Terre Haute; two daughters, Andrea Rowlett and Kristen Rowlett both of Terre Haute; the mother of Andrea and Kristen, Becky Rowlett; two grandchildren, Isaac and Ayden; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Burton Donald Rowlett; and two brothers, Michael Wayne Rowlett and Stephen Isaac Rowlett. David was a graduate of Wiley High School where he was an accomplished multisport athlete. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. David loved golf, especially the left to right putts. He was a NASCAR and college football fan. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M., Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 - 11:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Idle Creek Banquet Center.
