David H. Goeller, 84, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away January 4, 2020, at Westminster Village in Terre Haute. David was born July 1, 1935 in Columbus, Indiana to Louise and Howard Goeller.

Survivors include his son, Michael Goeller (Karen); two grandchildren, Scott Goeller, and Kate Oberlin (Andrew), and great-grandchildren Elijah Goeller, MaryAnne Goeller, Jack Oberlin, and Mia Oberlin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and a daughter, Michele Bolton.

David served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Business and School of Law and practiced law for 42 years with the Wilkinson, Goeller, Modesitt, Drummy, and Wilkinson Law Firm, retiring in 2005.

Previously, he served on the Boards of the American Red Cross (Wabash Valley Chapter) Country Club of Terre Haute (President 1976), Gartland Foundry, Hannig Construction, Mutual Federal Savings and Loan Association, Old National Bank (Terre Haute), Old National Trust Company, Western Tar Products, and Westminster Village of Terre Haute. David appreciated the support and care of Dr. Venkat Reddy and the excellent nurses and staff on the Assisted Living floor at Westminster Village.
