David A. Anderson

David A. Anderson, 89, of Terre Haute and formerly of Park Ridge, IL passed away Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2024.  He was born September 30, 1934 in Evanston, IL to Anders Anderson and Grace Orr Anderson.  His wife, Claire Hewitt Anderson, preceded him in death in 2020.

Survivors include his children, David A. Anderson, Jr.  of Palatine, IL and Laurie White (Scott) of Terre Haute;  a grandson, Jake Lewis;  two step-grandchildren, Emma and Jake White;  and his brother, Richard Anderson (Bunny) of Texas.

David served in the United States Army from 1957-1959 and had worked as a salesman in building supplies during his life.  He loved to play golf and was a member of the Country Club of Terre Haute.  He also enjoyed gardening and working around the house.

There are no services.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
