Cora Ethel Zimmerman, 84, of Terre Haute, IN, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning, April 5, 2014. Ethel was born in Terre Haute on August 25, 1929, to Forest Mitchell Felling and Emma Larimer Felling. Ethel is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Fred Zimmerman, whom she married on April 4, 1950. Survivors include three daughters, Rita Siebenmorgen and husband David, Beverly Richards and husband Gary, and Donna Westerfield and husband Don; one son, Chuck Zimmerman and wife Monica, all of Terre Haute; fourteen grandchildren, Heather McNeely, Chas Siebenmorgen, Amy Siebenmorgen, Erin Siebenmorgen, Amy McQueary, Jessica Huffenberger, Jimmy Richards, Greg Richards, Jessica Tegtmeyer, Steven Richards, Jami Fouts, Danielle Zimmerman, Abby Zimmerman and Emily Zimmerman; and twelve great-grandchildren, Kaylan, Lexi, Lauren, Tyler, Jonathan, James Jr., Mackenzie, Gavin, Cohen, Haley, Jaylee and Jeremy; and several nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Forest Junior Felling. Ethel was a graduate of Glenn High School and attended Union Christian Church. She worked for Bell Telephone until 1954, and worked as a secretary at Lost Creek Elementary School for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed passing her knowledge and talent on to her grandchildren. She loved the Lord, and her family. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home with Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon in the funeral home.
