Charlotte J. Dill Kelley, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Meadows Manor East Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 1, 1927 in Terre Haute to Floyd O. Morgan and Ethel Butcher Morgan. Charlotte was a bookkeeper for Union Hospital, Katherine Hamilton, Benchmark Metal Products, and Johnson Welding. Survivors include her son, Floyd Dill and his wife Diane of Terre Haute; one grandson, Patrick Boyle of Charlotte, NC; and a step-brother, Gordon Geckeler and his wife Tharon of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Floyd and Margaret Morgan; her mother and step-father, Ethel and Marion Seabough; husband Aubrey Kelley; and brother, Robert Morgan. Charlotte was Past Queen of Badoura Temple #23 Daughters of the Nile, Past Worthy Matron of OES Chapter #528, and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 104. Her greatest joys were being a mother and being with her family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Reverend Mark Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile memorial services starting at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
