Charles Franklin Miller, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Monday morning, May 18, 2020 at Signature HealthCARE at Terre Haute. He was born September 1, 1934 in Ferrel, Illinois to John W. Miller and Eula Marie Kimbrough Miller.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Remola Fay Harris Miller; three children, Linda M. Perry of Terre Haute, Michael E. Miller (Carol Ann) of Rosedale, IN, Lynette F. Jukes (J.W.) of Terre Haute and Michael Davidson of Washington State; his sister, Patsy Ann Jackson of Iowa; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Hillegas (Jim) and Catherine Miller; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Floyd K. Miller, Daniel Eugene Miller, Kenneth "Butch" Miller and John W. Miller, Jr.; and a sister, Bernice Trump.
Charles was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. As an over-the-road truck driver he loved traveling and trains. He also enjoyed camping and wearing his bib overhauls.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Dr. John Thompson officiating. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery in Edgar County, IL.
