Charles Franklin Mattick, 80, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Union Hospital of Clinton. He was born January 7, 1935 in Joppa, IN to Ernest August Mattick and Alice Nesbitt Mattick. Charles was a driver/salesman for Coca Cola. Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Betty Miller Mattick; daughters, Katherine Robinson of South Carolina, Elizabeth Dailey and her husband Mark of Paris, IL, and Charlene Mattick of Terre Haute; granddaughters, Amber Brooks and Chelsea Linville both of Terre Haute; sisters, Norma Jones, Marjorie Straw of Clinton, and Phyllis Maden of Lyford; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernie Mattick, Joe Mattick, and Phillip Mattick; and sisters, Elizabeth McIntosh and Ruby Taylor. Charles was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church where he was a former Deacon. He also had attended Union Christian Church where he was a Deacon and an Elder. Charles was also a lay preacher at several churches and at family reunions. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Joppa Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015. In lieu flowers donations may be made to North Terre Haute Christian Church.
