Charles Patrick Kennedy

Charles Patrick Kennedy, 72, of Rosedale, IN passed away Friday morning, July 5, 2024.  He was born August 10, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Edwin Kennedy and Mary Moran Kennedy.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Patricia Sunden Kennedy;  sons, Kevin Kennedy (Shannon) of Chicago and Sean Patrick Kennedy (Josie) of Georgia;  daughter, Bridget Sunden Molloy of San Diego, CA;  his brother, Steve Kennedy of Galena, Illinois;  sister, Jeannie Eccles (Rich) of Chicago;  and seven grandchildren, Aubrey Kennedy, Kaley Kennedy, Liam Molloy, Jamie Molloy, Deirdre Molloy, Sloan Molloy and Kieran Kennedy.

Charles was a member of St. Joseph University Parish.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2024 in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th Street, with Father Bob St. Martin officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 9:00-10:00 AM in the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com.
