Carolyn Sue Milner, 76, of Terre Haute died Monday, September 19, 2016 in Union Hospital. She was born July 5, 1940 in Terre Haute to John M. Vankirch and Mary Alice Kosco Vankirch. Carolyn worked at Chesty Foods and Bemis. She also drove a school bus for the Vigo County School Corporation for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Milner whom she married September 3, 1960; son, Donald Milner, Jr. of Terre Haute; daughter, Julie Boyce and her husband Duane of Terre Haute; brother, Charles Toth and his wife Martha of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Jeff Boyce and his wife Jaymee, Jason Boyce and Darrien, and Rianna Orlando and her husband Brian; great grandchildren, Kolten Boyce, Riley Orlando, Jackson Boyce, and Ellie Jo Boyce; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robin Rene Milner; and sisters, Edwina McCabe and Nelrose Wolfe.
Carolyn was a member of the Sycamore Model A Club. She loved to swim, boat, and take rides in the country. She was also a very devoted grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 with a rosary service at 4:00 p.m. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
