Carnella "June" Stone Morgan passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019. She was born on November 10, 1923 to Carlin and Suda Kesinger.
She was married to George E. Stone, Sr. in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1968. Their children are Donna Stone (the late Judge Dexter Bolin) Bolin, Terre Haute, Indiana and George (Nancy) Stone, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She later married Levi Morgan who also preceded her in death in 1997.
She had five grandchildren: Benjamin (Kim) Bolin, Westfield, Indiana, and Matthew Bolin, Terre Haute, Indiana. Also, Emily Stone (Jeremy) Zucker, Zionsville, Indiana, Anne Stone (Kevin) Curosh, Fishers, Indiana, and Patrick (Samantha) Stone, Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Gavin and Shelby Bolin and Molly, Phoebe, and John Zucker; her only surviving sibling of 11 brothers and sisters, Wanda (Eddie) Taylor of West Virginia; her dear friend, Phyllis Gray of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
Always a "people person," June loved socializing and planning activities with family and friends. Garage sales (both buying and selling), playing and singing music, and cooking wonderful meals were among the passions in her life. But June's greatest joy was laughing, talking, and just enjoying her family.
June was a cheerful, helpful person her entire life. Always in good spirits, June's caring nature would provide a warm smile, encouraging words, or other support to folks in need. She had a wonderful sense of humor, no more evident than when sharing stories about growing up poor in her large loving family in the West Virginia "hollers." June will be loved, remembered, and missed by all who came in contact with her and her kind ways during the 95 years of her well-lived life.
