Bryan Jay Ward, 74, of Terre Haute died on Friday, February 6, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born May 12, 1940 in Inglewood, California. Bryan spent four years in the Air Force and held an accounting degree from Wichita State University. After college he came to Terre Haute to work at CBS Records. He took a brief journey to Texas for five years before deciding he wanted to be back in Terre Haute at Columbia House. Bryan is survived by his loving wife of nearly 52 years, Mary; his sons, Brad and his wife, Kelly, Greg, Kevin and Chris and his wife, Megan; and six grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Asheley, Christian, Levi, Calvin, Owen and Ashlyn. Also surviving are a brother, Rodney K. Ward; sisters-in-law, Beth Warburton, Natalie Sable and Ellen Levesque; brother and sister-in-law, Edward & Joyce Warburton; and several nieces & nephews. Bryan's greatest achievement in life was his love of his family and his support of them through thick and thin. He was very proud of his sons and his grandchildren. Bryan was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, where his main goal was to put a smile on the faces of his friends. Now he is in heaven making all the angels smile. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. at Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar Street. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Scott Johnson and Reverend Chiyona Bourne officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 2701 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN 47803.
