Bonnie Lou Ammerman, 58, of Terre Haute lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 1, 2014 in Springhill Village. She was born November 1, 1955 in Clinton, IN to Charles H. Willy and Virginia R. Jones. Bonnie owned and operated her own daycare for 38 years. Survivors include her husband, Jack Ammerman; her mother, Virginia Jones of Terre Haute; daughters, Dawn Rankin and her husband Jason, Jackie Grizzle, and Beth Ammerman all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Dominic Rankin, Kristoffer Rankin, Jacob Porter, Lauryn Smith, Taylor Smith, and Shane Smith; brothers, Gerald Willy of Terre Haute and William E. Jones, Jr. of Paris, IL; sisters, Linda Willy of Terre Haute and Tammy Stadler and her husband John of Clay City; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Miley, Carly, and Roxie. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Roy E. Jones; and a sister, Brenda Willy. Bonnie loved being with her grandchildren and working in her yard. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Brother Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 in the funeral home.
