Betty Lucille (Hendrixson) Mckibban

Betty Lucille (Hendrixson) McKibban, 93, of Terre Haute passed into her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, October 4, 2022.  She was born February 24, 1929 in Indianapolis to Earl Hendrixson and Thelma (St. John) Hendrixson.

Betty was a member of World Outreach Church and Gospel Ministers in Christ.  She was well known for her love to her family and was adored by all who knew her. She was musically talented and loved gardening with flowers.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Macklin, Sharon Shake, Linda McKibban, Keith McKibban and Vicki Fortune. Grandchildren, Tami, Freddie, Stephen, Josef, Sarah, Joshua, Trevor, Andy, Lindsey, Ryan,  Stephen, Molly, Betsy, Michelle and Kirsti. Great grandchildren, Isaiah, Kaleigh, Sadie, Stanley, Zachary, Xander, Adam, Charles, Lydia, Alee, Courtni, Taylor, Benjamin, Emma and Leah. Great- great grandchildren, Peyton, Annalyse, Madi, Reid, Brantley, Brylie, Oliva, Blake and Chloe, along with several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Rev. Melvin McKibban, her parents, twelve siblings and two Grandsons, Freddie Smock Jr and Joshua Beck.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25 ^th St with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 12:00-2:00 P.M.  Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
