Betty Joan Mattick, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Union Hospital. She was born December 11, 1937 in Terre Haute to Ralph S. Miller and Katherine L. Myers Miller. Betty was a seamstress and needle artist. She worked for Pendleton, Steinmart, and at home. Survivors include her three daughters, Katherine Robinson of Bluffton, SC, Elizabeth Dailey and her husband Mark of Paris, IL, and Charlene Mattick of Terre Haute; two granddaughters, Amber Brooks and Chelsea Linville both of Terre Haute; one brother, Stephen Miller and his wife Linda of Terre Haute; sister, Helen Monroe of Terre Haute; sisters-in-law, Linda Miller of Altamont, IL and Janet Miller of Cumming, GA; and several much loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mattick; her parents; and two brothers, Ralph Miller and Gary Miller. Betty was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church, the Homemakers Extension Club, and the Rosedale Quilting Club. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Reverend Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Joppa Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015. In lieu flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, North Terre Haute Christian Church, or the charity of your choice.
