Betty Jane Servie Boyles, 96, of Terre Haute passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was a cook with the Vigo County School Corporation having worked at Sarah Scott Middle School. Betty was born April 26, 1922 in Terre Haute to Louis Servie and Mamie Myers Servie. Her husband, Cyral L. Boyles, preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include her three children and their spouses, Margie and Ray Sifrig of Valparaiso, IN, David and Nancy Boyles of Cory, IN and Sandy and Kevin Gillen of Terre Haute; her brother, Ralph Servie of Terre Haute; and four grandchildren, Kathy Wilkinson (Troy), Phillip Sifrig, Becky Angelov (George) and Jason Boyles. Also surviving are a grandson-in-law, Scott Hartwig; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; her special friend and caregiver, Chris Stepping; and all of her lady lunch friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gayso; a brother, Louis Servie; and a granddaughter, Susan Hartwig.

Betty was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ and had recently been attending St. Joseph University Parish. She was a member of the German Oberlandler Club and Carpe Diem Club for over 50 years. Betty was a sports fan as well, rooting for the Pacers, IU basketball and Notre Dame football. She was one of the most avid "Price is Right" fans, watching it right up to her final moments.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Father Savio Manavalan, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 29th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
