Beatrice Rose Marchino

Beatrice Rose Marchino, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday evening, November 27, 2021.  She was born November 20, 1930 in Brazil, IN to Rex Blaker and Hila Tabor Blaker.  Her husband, Robert L. Marchino, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Rex Marchino (Kathy) of Terre Haute, Mark Dale Marchino of Indianapolis and Mary King (Bill) of Riley, IN;  and six grandchildren, Sarah Marchino (Rob), Melissa Marchino, Christina Kirchoff (Ken), Steven Greene (Tiffany), Nate Myers (Stacia) and Meredith Baker.  Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren, Brock, Taylor, Mason, Maddie, Isaac, Cooper, Evie, Kinley and Grady; her two sisters, Doris Patterson of Terre Haute and Shirley Hicks of Bradenton, FL;  and her special care angel, Cattina Coultier.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, William Michael Marchino;  a sister, Ruby Tyler;  and a brother, Bobby Blaker.

Beatrice was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church.  Earlier in her life she worked for the Vigo County Reassessment Department and was a typist for professors and students working on post-graduate theses and dissertations at Indiana State University.  Beatrice was a Master of Cross Stitching.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 2, 2021 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9 ^th Street, with Father Martin Day, OFM Conv. officiating.  Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled prior to services in church from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon.  If friends should so desire memorial contributions may be made to VNA / Hospice of the Wabash Valley, 400 8 ^th Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47804.  Funeral information and tributes may be found at www.callahanandhughes.com .
