Barbara Marie Stephens, 67, of Terre Haute passed away Monday evening, May 14, 2018 in Signature HealthCARE of Terre Haute. She was born October 19, 1950 in Terre Haute to John Kuckewich and Agnes Heubel Kuckewich.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Clifford L. Stephens; a daughter, Ann Marie Stephens of Bloomington, IN; step-children, Clifford Stephens, Jr. (Terri) of Greenwood, IN, Christina Hines of Terre Haute and Gary E. Stephens (Debi) of Muncie, IN; a brother, Richard Kuckewich of Buffalo Grove, IL; and two sisters, Mary Ann Kuckewich and Sharon Dick (Robert) both of Terre Haute. Also surviving are five grandchildren, April, Jasmine, Roderick, Aaron and Caleb; two great-grandchildren, Mikayden and Roderick II; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Patty Gifford of Terre Haute, Sharon Stephens of Terre Haute, Bill Stephens of Fort Myers, FL, Jim Stephens (Alice) of Terre Haute and David Stephens, Dorothy Stephens and Donald Stephens all of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Rose Marie Kuckewich.

Barbara was a graduate of Schulte High School and was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was a long-time member of the former St. Ann Catholic Church. Barbara loved to listen to Elvis Presley music and was a lover of animals and pets.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 111 South 9th Street, with Father Martin Day, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. If friends should so desire, memorial contributions may be made to any charity that provides for the care and welfare of pets and animals.
