Barbara Beckman Lee
September 5, 1926 — July 5, 2019
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mike and Polly Lee of Terre Haute and Carole and John Hos of Terre Haute; a grandson, Andrew Corey (Amber) of Terre Haute; a sister, Peggy Joanell Dawson (Bill) of Terre Haute; three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Silas and Norah; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Beckman, Jr.
Barbara was a graduate of Bicknell High School and attended Indiana State Teachers College. She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church where she was active in the New Seekers Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Aaron Wheaton officiating. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home.
