Barbara A. Benefiel, 89, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 in Meadows Manor East. She worked at Quaker Maid, Inc. for 31 years. She was born December 15, 1926 in Terre Haute to Ernest Conder and Hertha Sigler Conder.

Survivors include a step-son, Paul Howard Benefiel and his wife, Lena, of Houston, TX; a step-daughter, Kathy Benefiel of Memphis, TN; and six step-grandchildren, Kyle Benefiel and his wife, Amanda, Lindy Stolarzyk and her husband, Derek, Paul Benefiel, Jr., Nika Benefiel, Kara Benefiel, Cori Benefiel and her husband, Joel Miller, Kinzi Cooper and Jordin Cooper. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, Henry Miller, Louis Miller, Journe Simpson, Lilli Lotter, Lexi Beverly, and Lyla Beverly; and several nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Benefiel; her parents; and sister, Dorothy Conder.

Barbara was a member of Hulman Street Wesleyan church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 17, 2016 in Callahan Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Pastor Kyle Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Friday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
