Tuesday, July 18, 2017 will forever be marked as a dark day that God decided to bring home one of his angels that her friends and family will always remember as having a bigger than life personality and an unmatched love for her children, family and friends. Ashlee Beth Menestrina Brown, 33, originally of Terre Haute, IN passed away in her Orange County, CA home due to complications resulting from a long battle with kidney disease.
Ashlee was born on February 6, 1984 in Terre Haute, IN to Jerry Menestrina and Patricia Welch Heaton Parker. She attended Otter Creek Middle School and Terre Haute North Vigo before going on to study nursing. She was a gymnastics and dance enthusiast and her love to perform shaped who she was. No matter where she went her beauty and infectious laugh would invite strangers into her world that would soon become like family. She was a fierce and loyal friend who would do anything to help those in need.
Ashlee was also a very devoted and loving mother. There is nothing that she took more pride in than spending time with her children and seeing them thrive. They were her best friends. She loved taking them to museums and especially the beach. She leaves behind her son, Austin Christopher Manuel, 12, her daughter, Annika Lee Brown, 8, and her youngest son Connor Owen Brown, 2; all of Orange County, CA.
To her family, she was Ash Bash and it was always a party with her. During this time of loss we do not know how the vast abyss her passing has left will be filled. She is survived in death by her husband, Jason Brown, her mother, Patricia Welch Heaton Parker, and her step-fathers Thomas Heaton and Dale Parker. She will be truly missed by her brothers, Jared Menestrina, Brandon Heaton and Dale Parker Jr. and her sisters, Brittany Menestrina, Kylie Heaton, Lacey Heaton, Chelsea Parker and Katelyn Parker.
It is with the deepest regret that these words must ever be put into existence but we hope that everyone can find solace in knowing that she is now joined with her deceased father Jerry Menestrina and her loving grandparents Patricia Kukta Delich, Rosemary and Gerald "Whitey" Menestrina and so many of her friends and loved ones that passed too soon.
Please join us in celebrating her life with visitation services being held on Sunday, July 23 from 4pm-8pm and Monday, July 24 10am-2pm with a funeral and burial directly after in Terre Haute, IN. Visitation and funeral will be held at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home located at 605 South 25th St. Terre Haute, IN 47803. Funeral information may also be found at www.callahanandhughes.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to the Ashlee Beth Menestrina Brown Fund at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home. These funds will go towards her last expenses and for her children.
We would like to leave you with a quote she loved and we pray you can hold tight to it; "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18. No more fear, no more pain and all the love in the world will be forever be held in your memory.
