Anneliese Elizabeth Schulz

Anneliese Elizabeth Schulz, 90, formerly of Terre Haute died peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born October 24, 1927 in Rheinhausen, Germany. Her husband, Edward H. Schulz, preceded her in death in 2005.

Anneliese is survived by her daughter, Christa Bowman (Jim Bowman); granddaughter, Megan Bowman; grandsons, Blaine Bowman, Matthew Tegtmeyer and Nicholas Tegtmeyer; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Tegtmeyer, Cohen Tegtmeyer, Aubrey Tegtmeyer and Emmalyn Tegtmeyer. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son Rainer Tegtmeyer, of Terre Haute.

Anneliese moved to the United States in her late 20's and was employed for over 25 years at the Holiday Inn of Terre Haute. She enjoyed volunteering at Wabash Senior Citizens/ Wabash Activity Center and also worked as a seamstress working out of her home.

Graveside services and burial are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Friday, March 30, 2018 in Highland Lawn Cemetery with Reverend Scott Johnson officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Susan G.
