Allen E. Anderson, 62, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. He was born April 9, 1953 in Terre Haute to Jack Anderson and Maxine Puckett Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Whitesell Anderson; mother, Maxine Anderson; daughter, Tara Anderson (Courtney Weger) of Terre Haute; son, Trey Anderson (Betty) of San Antonio, TX; step-sons, Kenny Wineinger (Megan) of Sullivan and Kris Wineinger (Erin) of Terre Haute; brothers, Aaron Anderson (Stephanie) of North Carolina and Anthony Anderson (Terri) of Terre Haute; sisters, Anita Anderson, Arletta Stough (Mark), and Annette Anderson (Terry) all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Moirah Anderson, Sophia Anderson, Silas Anderson, Brody Weger, Michael Wineinger, Kendra Wineinger, Hannah Wineinger, Emma Wineinger, and John Wineinger; niece, Katelyn Anderson; nephews, Justin Anderson, Randall Pitts, Billy Pitts, Chris Bennett(Christina), Conor Tilford, Brian Hayden (Robyn), Paul Ingle (Shala), Sonya Combs (Donnie), and Andy Combs; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Anderson and a sister, Alanna Anderson. Allen was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a fork lift operator for Taghleef. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, and American Legion Post # 104. Allen was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 645 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN with Pastor Jacob Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors by American Legion Post#104. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street and one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
